Humanitarian Relief

Suu Foundation is currently supporting emergency humanitarian relief for the people of Myanmar who are suffering from the effects of violence, forced eviction, imprisonment, and other human rights abuses.

Suu Foundation is now providing discreet and life-saving humanitarian relief alongside trusted partner organisations to conflict areas. These include Mindat and Kanpelet in Southern Chin State, Pekhon, Dimawso, Hpruso and Loikaw in Karenni State, Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Mon state.

Thousands of people have left their homes and are in hiding. Suu Foundation is helping with basic needs, foods, mosquito nets, rice, oil, salt, beans, emergency medicine.

One Organisation which we supported said “Well received your meaningful support to our people who are in need urgently suffering from military junta attacks. Thank Suu Foundation”.

Suu Foundation is supporting political prisoners who are being imprisoned for their beliefs against military junta. Political prisoners’ families receive our support via trusted intermediaries who are able to work in this very difficult environment. Some of them have told us, “This help is very encouraging to our mental and physical conditions”, “well received your invigorating support”.
